An Account with multiple listings

I hired a developer/designer to build a website using RentalHive with varous extentions. The purpose of the website is to have property owners (vendor) list buildings and the buildings can have a one or multiple vacancies in the building. For example, if it is a hotel it can have multiple rooms to rent.

From what I’m being told from the person doing the work is that the RentalHive theme doesn’t allow this functionality. He said the possible solutions is to create a new account with one listing per account. So, if a vendor wants to list three rooms it has to create three new listing accounts.

My idea was to have the vendor create one account and then it is the parent to one or more listings, so they don’t have to create all the basic information about the property (Name, address, phone number, etc) over and over again, but just add a room based on its type of room (one queen bed, two doubles, etc).

If we created three accounts per location then under the search page it would show three dots per location.

I want to search page list the vendor’s property and then goes to a webpage that on the right shows the basic account information (Name, address, etc) on the left is panel that would show thte listings and they can click on the listing to go to that specifie room.

Is this possible?

There’s indeed no extra level between vendors and listings, but there may be workarounds. For example, if you use the vendor profile as hotel, then listings can be used as rooms so each room will have its own availability calendar. You can create different vendor categories and category-specific fields so the vendor profile would differ in case of a person (like hosts on Airbnb) or a hotel. This way persons and companies (hotels) can list their details within the same platform and add properties/rooms for booking.

If you mean showing vendor details on the listing page or making listings searchable by these details, a possible solution is adding the same fields for listings and vendors and checking the Sync option, so that vendors can change the details in their profile once, and details will be in sync with all the listings.
