Yes, the phone field has this feature by default.
If you have a problem with it, then please disable third-party plugins and customizations (if there are any) and check if this issue persists. If you use a caching plugin, make sure that caching is disabled for logged-in users.
If the issue persists please send more details that may help to detect or reproduce this issue (e.g. screenshots, the error message you get, which country you choose when getting this problem).
Ah hmm so I am using just the HivePress plugin itself (not the theme). Can you confirm the out of the box functionality with the plugin is to include an input mask?
I am doing some debugging to rule out theme / plugin conflict as well.
Input mask for the phone field is in HivePress plugin functionality, and HivePress themes do not hide this feature, but we can not be sure of third-party themes that they also do not hide this feature
