Buyers to pay a percentage of the full price

Hi,

I would need to show a feature where buyers only pay for a percentage of the listing, then the rest to vendor at a later stage. Let’s say, they will pay on my platform only 20% as deposit, the rest later. see image.

is ther a way to do that on Marketplace ext. or woocommerce.

By “pay the rest later”; do you mean later as in, in-person, or online, but at a later date? ..Either way, I don’t think this is currently possible in HivePress. (Staff will likely confirm soon)

I did find this WooCommerce extension that seems like it would help you achieve this, but it would likely take some custom development, if you’re not comfortable with coding yourself, to get it all working smoothly with HivePress, as I don’t believe it’s currently officially supported by HivePress in the same way the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin is able to be combined with Memberships.

Hi,

If you are using the Marketplace extension, the Direct Payouts feature works as described: when a user makes a payment, the platform commission (e.g., 20% set on the user side) is paid to you, and the remaining amount is sent directly to the vendor. The user pays the full amount online, but the system automatically distributes 20% to the platform and the rest to the vendor.
