Can I add the request feature without marketplace?

Hi. I was wondering whether I could add a requests section on my listinghive theme without having the users actually paying for service requested. (the idea is for the service providers to just see the reqeusts and interact with them not actually getting paid through the site.)

Hi,

Yes, you can use Requests without the Marketplace extension. In this case, there won’t be an “Accept an Offer” button, since that action is tied to payment handling. Only the messaging option will be available.

I reactivated the request integration (that probably I already had 1 year ago and deactivated).

Do you know how I can add a section where users can add requests? Unfortunately I don’t see this information on the documentation support posted on hivepress website.

Hi Francesco,

Please create an empty page named “Requests” [or choose another title] in Pages, then assign it to requests in HivePress > Settings > Requests > Requests Page.
