Can I connect DigitalAka to a HivePress site for member emails?

I’m setting up a HivePress site and comparing bulk email sending service providers for opt-in updates to members. Can DigitalAka™ be connected for this? If so, should I use SMTP, an API, or another integration? Any guidance on the right HivePress setting or plugin would be helpful.

To set up email delivery, you’ll need an SMTP plugin to help ensure that your emails are delivered reliably: How to set up emails - HivePress Help Center

You can use any SMTP plugin you prefer, but we usually recommend YaySMTP, as its free plan includes email delivery logs.

Once you’ve installed an SMTP plugin, please follow these steps:

  1. Select Other SMTP [or Other/Custom SMTP] as your mailer/provider.
  2. Enter the SMTP server credentials provided in your DigitalAka account dashboard.
  3. Save the settings.
  4. Send a test email to check that everything is configured correctly and your emails are being delivered successfully.
