I have created some attributes in Request Listing and would like to show them in Ternary!
I have realised that I am unable to display the attributes; there may be a limitation in HivePress, or I might simply not know how to do it. Now, is there any way I can do that?
If it is possible to achieve that with a code snippet, could you please share it? May I please request you share the snippet?
One more thing –
In Submit listing I have used CSS Codes to change the icon colors of the attributes e.g. (.hp-listing__attribute–ternary > i)
How can I call request attributes in CSS?
Thank you.
Please provide more details where exactly you want to display this attribute, as we have a ternary area available if you add attributes in Listings > Attributes using this documentation: How to add listing attributes - HivePress Help Center.
I am using ExpertHive Theme with both 1. Add Listing and 2. Request a Service
Now my question is,
After creating attributes in Add Listing, I can easily navigate to the Display Area, select “Page Ternary”, and see them appear on the listing page. See Image 1
Your request is related to a premium product. Please add the license key to the account settings to access forums for your purchased products and get the Premium Support badge on your profile. I recently bought the plugin HivePress SEO in March, but that was from a different email. Do you think I can add the KEYs here for premium support? Otherwise, I have to create the profile for that account as well and ask the same question.
Thanks for the details. Yes, this information is displayed, but please note that you clarify that you are using the ExpertHive theme. However, your email shows that you purchased only MeetingHive. Therefore, if you need further support, please add your MeetingHive license key in the settings.
Thank you for the clarification, and I apologise for the confusion.
I loved the HivePress themes and plugins; therefore, I have purchased several themes and plugins to experiment with. First I purchased. I initially bought MeetingHive, but quickly discovered that ExpertHive better suits my needs.
Now I didn’t want to bother for a refund because I believe one day I will use it for another project idea.
For now I am only using ExpertHive; please check it below. If you want, I can share the KEYs with you.
The only problem is I used a different email ID; I simply wanted to separate the projects for my understanding.
I don’t mind buying again, but currently I am focusing only on one website, which is providing scholarship opportunities and building a page to donate devices.
I have mentioned every KEYs, what you requested. Thank you for your support. Just one feedback for you. (incase you want to take it)
As a developer, you understand the importance of every project. It becomes craving if you (we) are not able to resolve it. The same thing is happening to me.
I asked for this support almost 5 days ago, and still I am not able to fix it.
Now I completely understand the protocols of the company/organisation.
In this situation, what could have been a win-win scenario?
Hey Akhi, Our system reflects a different theme than what you have mentioned working on.
In case you have multiple themes and plugins. Please add all the licence keys here in the forum. So that we can provide you smooth support from our side.
Thank you for your understanding. (Imagine how much time we could have saved for both of us.)
See, I genuinely love the HivePress team and the product. I have no means to disrespect; it is just positive criticism, nothing else.
Thank you a lot for your genuine and considerate feedback — we are very grateful for it.
I am sorry for the delay and any inconvenience this has caused. We realize that promptly solving development-related problems matters a lot when you have a project in progress.
It is absolutely correct — starting with clear information about the theme and plugin license keys can save a lot of time on both ends. I agree with your idea and we will handle requests for ratings and guidance better in future.
Please allow us to state this — asking for license keys is not just for extra trouble, it is vital to our process to protect the product from piracy. By doing this, we are able to help the real users like you and at the same time ensure our project remains sustainable.
It means a lot to us when you support HivePress and enjoy working with it. Be assured that your feedback was taken seriously and with the purpose of making things better.
Regarding your issue with the ternary area in the request attribute, we have tested everything in more detail, and this area is only supported for listings in this version, but we plan to add it for requests in future updates. As a workaround, if you need this urgently, we can provide a PHP snippet to display this area. Let us know if this works for you.
Thank you very much for sharing this update. I am very happy to test out new things.
I wanted to know, does this update also show the “Requested Category” if we want to display it somewhere?
Curious to know!
Yes, there was also an update for categories. However, please note that depending on the theme, there may be minor issues, as each theme requires additional updates. If you encounter such issues, please let us know which theme you are using, and we will provide a temporary fix.
