Can't upload SVG file like a logo

I’m trying to upload ,y logo, it’s an SVG file and get this message…

“logo.svg” has failed to upload.**
Sorry, you are not allowed to upload this file type.

Any suggestions?

Hi. Wordpress does not allow unless you download plugin. I use SVG Support plugin. Then you can download SVG.

Thank you! SVG Support didn’t work for me but the Safe SVG plugin was successful.

SVG support only works via uploading straight into media library. I think the safe svg is better if it’s easier to work with
