Category page description

hi i did the snippet mentioned in this post Move the category listing description to the bottom

however because i’ve edited my category page the category description doesn’t show on the bottom even with the code snippet installed. if i use the default template i have 2 descriptions on the page but if i use the template version i made i can’t move the description at all even though i am customizing it. it keeps the description only on the top. is there something else i need to do to make the category description move from the hero section in my template?

Hi,

Please note that this PHP snippet does not move the description, but simply duplicates it. That is, you should see the same description at the bottom, and you need to hide the previous one using CSS. However, if you overwrite the template in HivePress > Templates, and you mean that this PHP snippet does not work when the template is overwritten, please send a screenshot of this template in HivePress > Templates so that we can reproduce it on our end.

Thanks for the screenshot. Please clarify, are you changing this template in HivePress > Templates, as shown in this document How to customize templates - HivePress Help Center? Or in WordPress > Pages?
