Coming Soon page whilst I'm building/configuring

Hi Everyone,

I have just installed JobHive but I feel this is more of a generic question so that’s why I post it here.
I would like to have a temporary “Coming Soon” page displayed on my website whilst I’m building/configuring my jobsite, ideally with a newsletter subscription form so people can subscribe and be notified when the website is launched.

What is the best way to do this?

Googling this taught me that there are specific WP plugins for this but maybe there is a better way to this without having to install extra plugins.
The newsletter form shouldn’t be an issue as I have a Brevo (email marketing platform) account that helps me embed a form in WP.

Hi,

You ca create one using your FTP and create a php file.
Then you create a wordpress page called “coming soon” and select it as a template, then publish it.
After this you can select this page as the home page of your website : settings > read > and select the home page as a static page and select your new coming soon page.
You finally just have to custom it via CSS :slight_smile:
