Count affiliate link for external sites

Hello Team HivePress!

I am wondering if I can count all the affiliate links or have some kind of statistics where I can see how much business has been raised through our website.

Explainantion:
I post opportunities where I have this button called “Apply Now” and Visit “Official Website.”
Now I want to know how many visitors are actually visiting the external site by clicking on the buttons.

Is there any possibility to check? Is this feature available in hivepress statics?
It would be a great statistic to show and invite them to onboard with our website.

Can you please guide me on this?

Hi,

Unfortunately, this feature is not available, but thank you for your feedback, we will consider adding it. As a workaround, you can create a custom page and specify the URL in the format button: /custom-page-slug-here?redirect=actual-button-url-here, and on this page, using a custom PHP implementation, increase the counter and redirect the user to the URL from the redirect parameter.

By default, AFAIK, affiliate programs count how many clicks where done through their services, and how many went through (i.e to a purchase), no ?
