Create page for the attribute

I’ve created an attribute with several options - is there a top level front end page for the attribute and a font end page for each of the options I entered?

Hi,

Please send more details about your question, and we will do our best to help you.

HI

I want to have landing pages for the attributes I create basically.

For example, if I create a “Food & Drink” attribute and add several options - can I access a front end page for the attribute options I have created?

Hi,

Yes, if you have created a listing attribute with a select type, for example, then after adding options through the Edit Options feature, you can click View next to each attribute and you will be redirected to the page for that attribute. But, please note that these pages can only be customized in more detail using a custom implementation, as they are similar to the pages created for categories. And if you mean adding with custom content, we are planning to add the attribute filters feature for the Listings block so that you can create a landing manually in WP Dashboard > Pages.

Thanks for getting back to me Andrii

You said, “after adding options through the Edit Options feature, you can click View next to each attribute and you will be redirected to the page for that attribute” - but we don’t see this in the admin of the Attribute options.

Do we need a paid version to be able to see it? Currently we are prototyping to see if your software can match our requirements and this is a big point of failure.

Hi,

Please make sure that you have enabled the Create a page for each attribute option feature in the attribute settings.

Hi I have a similar question. For the top level Taxonomy “Food & drinks” with attribute such as “cheese”, “wine” etc, what you described is how to create a page for each attribute. However how do I find all listings in “Food & drinks”, that would include “cheese” and “wine”.

Thanks

Hi,

If it’s a custom attribute, please select the Checkboxes or Select type and enable Multiple option, so you can search for multiple options, such as “cheese” and “wine”.

Thank you Andrii, but what I need is a landing page where the customer does not need to search for multiple options. For example on my home page, I would like to feature some attributes. I would like a link to all the “Food & Drink”, how do I get that link? I know how to get the link for “cheese” or “wine” etc but not sure how to get a predefined link for top level attributes.

  1. Search or Filter the Listings:
On your site, use the search bar or filters to find the listings that match the “Food & Drink” category (or any other top-level attribute).

  2. Copy the URL:
Once the page displays the desired results, copy the URL from your browser’s address bar.

  3. Add the Link:
Use this URL as a hyperlink:

Add it to your menu (via the WordPress menu settings under Appearance > Menus).

Or, link it to an image card or button on your homepage.

  1. Test the Link:
Ensure the link works properly and leads to the exact filtered page you want users to access.

This method is quick and does not require you to manually find slugs or deal with technical configurations. It works seamlessly for top-level attributes and ensures that users land on the correct page without additional effort.

Thank you @shibfox for your suggestion! I think the challenge I am having is that some top level attributes have up to 20-30 values, so it gets a bit complicated if I have to select all 20-30 values. Also if a value is added later I need to remember to change the query. I was wondering if there was an “easier” way to get any listing related to the top level attribute? I am happy to write a custom code if I can get some guidance @andrii.

Hi,

Please clarify what you are referring to by the top attributes link. Maybe the link that is displayed on the filtering page when several options are selected? If so, you can only copy the search URL and add this URL as a button to the landing page, for example. Also, if you have marked an attribute as Public, each option of this attribute has its own URL and you can view it in Listing > Attributes > open your attribute > Edit Options > and click View next to any option.
