"CSV File" field is required

Dear Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue while trying to import a CSV file containing approximately 4,000 records into HivePress. Despite following the standard import procedure, the process fails when I attempt to upload the full file. However, if I upload a smaller subset of the same file (around 100 records), the import works without any issues.

Here are the details of my CSV file and the steps I have taken to resolve the issue:

CSV File Details:

  • Delimiter: Comma (,)
  • Encoding: UTF-8

Columns:

  • full_name
  • title
  • experience
  • website
  • practice_areas
  • jurisdictions
  • company
  • phone
  • company_full_address
  • company_address
  • company_city
  • company_state
  • company_zipcode
  • company_latitude
  • company_longitude

When i am trying to upload it gives an error below is the screen shot of that.

I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue as the ability to import the full dataset is crucial for my project. Could you please help me identify any potential limitations or provide guidance on how to successfully import the entire CSV file with 4,000 records?

I see. We know this issue during import and plan to fix it in the next update. For now, as a temporary solution, please try changing the max_execution_time from 30 seconds to a longer time in your hosting provider’s settings.

i Put 300 max_execution_time but problem is same. Even its not uploading more than 430 records at a time .Import stops after 430 records without any error.

Please try to increase max_execution_time to the maximum possible value provided by your hosting provider and test again.

If I try to import more then 100 hundred listings with each having 10 or more images as attachments the import process runs a long time which is understandable but cuts of the import showing no reason, error (because there were no errors) and just does not finish importing it all.

My listings have quite a lot of selectable custom attributes also which maybe adds on complexity of the import process making it slow and potentially causing some time out in the import function in controller class.

Is there a limit on bulk importing? Have almost 1000 to do and the import currently breaks every 10 rows.
