So that the user menu items are on their own row and there is a separate menu for all the different categories that you can find on our site. Here’s how it looks now, and the red marks shows where I’d like to drop the “Browse talents” menu (it only has that name now so that the site wouldn’t look super messy with user menu and all the products on the same line)
I tried to do this some time ago but I didn’t manage to make it work. Is this something I should be able to do without ordering customising? Or how could I solve this?
I could have compromised and only have it on the front page by adding it to the page itself, but it wont work either as the background image is a set site and the menu wont be on top of these items. I also tried to make an empty space to the background image as a work around but seems like the featured image/background image is a fixed size and it wont matter if I make it taller with white space on top of it.
We recommend using drop-down menus (for example, parent menu Categories, and drop-downs are the categories themselves). However, if you still need to make two rows in the header, you will need a custom implementation. Additionally, as another option, you can use mega menu plugins, but unfortunately, we have not tested them, so we cannot provide more details.
That’s how I currently have it (Browse talents, and the categories are under that), but I already received UX feedback that it would be better as per pictured. Custom implementation would be something I can order from you, right?
And thanks for the tip with mega menus, I had not thought of that option at all.
