Just spent hours trying to workout how to design the listing pages. I can’t find any information at all and it’s driving me crazy.
If you go to Hivepress > Templates - you can design a template then save as ‘listing’ then publish.
When you then go to Lisitings > add new - there is no template showing or no options to select a template even.
Can someone please help.
I am having the same issue…Im loving everything about this except that I cant edit the listing page to make it look nicer
The only option I’ve found is the yellowpencil plugin. Maybe the administrators will suggest other options, successes
To change the design of the Add Listing page, you need to go to HivePress > Templates > and select the Add Listings (Details) template; please check this doc How to customize templates - HivePress Help Center. Please note that some changes will require custom implementation (e.g., PHP snippets or CSS tweaks).
If you need to add other fields to the Add Listing form, you need to use listing attributes; please check this doc How to add listing attributes - HivePress Help Center. Please note that the Add Listing form may have embedded fields; you need to use PHP snippets to remove or edit them.
You can view the collection of our PHP and CSS snippets at this link Search · user:hivepress · GitHub (How to add custom code snippets - HivePress Help Center)
I hope this is helpful to you.
Sounds like a total ballache. Why would you have a template option and block designer when you need to start adding code?!
Please note that the function of overwriting the template does not have the ability to change the color, size of buttons, etc. (this function does not work like page customization How to customize pages - HivePress Help Center, it is a completely different function). You can perform all these actions in Appearance > Customize.
