Disable "Add to Favorites" for Non-Logged In User

Hey There - so, I found JobHive to be perfect for what I’m trying to create, which is basically a job board curated / maintained on the site admin side. I’ve managed to turn off any ability to log in / create accounts / etc., and managed to turn off the ability for users to favorite listings (when I look at a job page while logged in, the option isn’t there, neither on the posting nor the search page). But when I’m a logged out / incognito user, the option to favorite with the “Add to Favorites” text is still present (oddly only on jobs I create, not on the demo listings, so maybe those were created before favorites?) and the heart is still present on the /jobs/ page (oddly for all jobs).

I went as far as even deleting the HivePress Favorites Plugin and it still seems to be there. Any ideas how I can make it where non-members can’t see the option? Since I’m not allowing enrollment, just trying to cut off users at the pass of trying to figure out how to log in (since there’s also no enrollment options present).

Hi,

After uninstalling the plugin, please try clearing the cache, as it will most likely cause these issues.

I hope this is helpful to you.

Thank you - that did it! Still learning the ins and outs of WP; didn’t even think about that. Appreciate all the work put into this; it’s perfection for what I needed!
