Display All Listings by Default on Directory Page

Hi everyone,

I’ve encountered an issue with the directory page on my website where the first thing users see is a “Nothing found” message. I would prefer that all listings be shown by default when the page is loaded.

I understand that pressing the filter button at the bottom will display the results, but I’m concerned that my users might not be aware of this step. Is there a way to configure the page so that it automatically shows all listings without requiring any initial filtering?

Any assistance on how to implement this change would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

Please make sure that the “Listings Page Display” option is disabled in the HivePress>Settings>Listings section.

Let me know if the issue persists.

For me, selecting no categories for the filters solved the issue. (It was suggested by Andrii)

Hi Serhii,

I disabled it but I still get the “Nothing found” message. If I disable the “Listings Page Display”, my Directory page (Directory | Wikén Host) changes but that’s not the page I’m trying to edit. Instead, I’m trying to edit my “Bars and Restaurants” page (Bars & Restaurants | Wikén Host) to have it show all my listings as default.

Please note that you are using a third-party theme, and in order for it to work correctly, you will most likely need custom integration: Compatibility with third-party themes - HivePress Help Center.

In order to search by category, please try the following:

• Please disable third-party plugins and customizations (if there are any) and check if this issue persists. If you use a caching plugin, make sure that caching is disabled for logged-in users.

• Please refresh permalinks: How to refresh WordPress permalinks - HivePress Help Center

• Also, try re-saving any of the categories, this will refresh the category cache

If these recommendations didn’t help, it’s 100% a third-party theme issue.
