Display categories only when listings are setup for this category

I want to display categories and sub-categories on my top categories area, but only shall be displayed when listings are found within.

Actually the situation is, that all categories are displayed even if there are no listings added so far.
And if I setup the categories as sub-categories, then those are not displayed in top categories any more.

I need help to solve

1. Display categories only when listings are setup for this caregory
2. Display sub-categories also, but only when listings are setup for this caregory

Unfortunately, there’s no such feature, it would require a custom implementation. But thanks for your feedback, we plan to add the correct display in the next updates, as this feature is already on the roadmap Hide empty categories or display counts in the filters form - #3 by ihor
