Duplicate Homepage Issue – Two URLs Pointing to Homepage?

Hi HivePress team,

I’ve noticed a strange behavior on my site and I think it might be affecting SEO. It seems like I have two different URLs pointing to what appears to be the homepage. For example:

I’m using Yoast but there’s no Home Page Archive setting activated.

I’m not sure how this happened — maybe from setting a custom homepage or some permalink setting?

Here’s what I’d like help with:

  1. Understanding why this duplicate URL exists.
  2. How to remove or redirect one of them properly (ideally /home/) so there’s no SEO confusion or penalty.
  3. Any tips on best practices for setting a single homepage with HivePress/WordPress.

Thank you in advance for your guidance!

Hi,

Thanks for the details. Please note that this setting is not related to HivePress features, as HivePress adds listing functionality to the WordPress site, and the SEO plugin and home page settings are WordPress-scope. It is possible that the home page is also used as a blog, which is why it is displayed as an archive, but for more information, I recommend contacting Yoast SEO support.

I hope it helps
