Duplicated city in the location field

When a user specifies a region in their profile, not only the city and country are displayed, but also different regions. This would be normal if the cities were not duplicated. For example, I write a city, and the map shows the city 3-4 times. It looks very bad.

For example, here the city of Astana was duplicated 2 times, and it happens that the city is duplicated 4 times.

How can I make it display only this way: city, country?

Please note that we receive this data exclusively through the API from MapBox or Google Maps and do not modify it in any way. Therefore, a custom implementation would be required to make such changes.
