"Error loading block: The response is not a valid JSON response."

This error keeps appearing when editing the main home page.
The only fix I could find on this forum was to reinstall everything from scratch, which I did and the issue went away.
Then I installed loco translate plugin and the issue came back.
So I uninstalled loco translate and the issue went away.
Then it came back so I reinstall everything from scratch again, including WP.
Then I added a couple of extra attributes to listings and the issue is back again.
The only plugin I have that isn’t a Hive plugin is Woocommerce.
There’s no pattern to which blocks fail to display. Sometimes it’s 1 or two blocks displaying the error, other times it can be most of them.

I set up error logging as per: How to configure WordPress error logs to identify and resolve problems - HivePress Help Center

But not seeing any errors in the log file.

Hi,

Please disable third-party plugins and customizations (if there are any) and check if this issue persists. If you use a caching plugin, make sure that caching is disabled for logged-in users. If this issue exists, please send temporary WP access to support@hivepress.io with details for reproducing this issue, and we’ll check it (please send only the link without login and password). You can create a temporary access link using this plugin: Temporary Login Without Password – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org.

Was a fix for this found? I also have the same issue. This is on a brand new site. The only plugins are Hivepress ones, woocommerce, and litespeed. I made sure to follow the Hivepress tutorial for setting up litespeed.

Hello,

It happened to me too. I love gutemberg and its little ways .

Anyway, as far as I concerned, it’s mostly a “notice” or “warning”, it keeps working on the front-end.

Hello,

I also have the same issue. The issue is when setting the column width, the template won’t save. I am using Rentalhive them. Is there a fix available?
Thank you.

Hi,

If you have disabled all third-party plugins except HivePress and the issue is still persistent, then please send temporary WP access to support@hivepress.io with details to reproduce this issue, and we’ll check it (please send only the link, without login and password). Hello

I already sent the temporary login link, 'replied to the support email. The issue still persist even deactivating all other plugins. Here are the steps to reproduce the issue:
Step 1. Add Template
Step 2. Add column block (2 columns)
Step 3. Adjust the Left column width to 25% (This is where the error appears: “Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response.”) and it won’t save.

Hi,

Thank you for the link. The hosting provider is most likely blocking the post request because a 403 error is displayed after saving the template. I recommend checking the hosting provider’s settings or contacting their support.

I found a fix by clearing browser cache. Appreciate your assistance.
