Can I create an Expert profile only without any listing ?
I see that a user’s Expert profile is not visible unless the user as vendor has not created a listing
Is that correct that both the things are linked ?

By default, in HivePress, a user becomes an Expert (vendor) only after adding at least one listing. However, you can enable “Direct registration” in the WP Dashboard > HivePress > Settings > Vendors section. In that case, users will be able to register as experts (vendors) without adding any listings.
Also, it’s better to add a new menu item in the WP Dashboard > Appearance > Menus (it’s better to choose Header) > Add items > Custom Links. In this field, you should set the URL following the structure: your-domain/register-vendor
Now a link to the “vendor registration page” should appear in the header of your website and users will be able to register as experts without adding listings.
But now the thing is once a person registers as vendor this option continues to show up in the menu, which is not correct
