When user click forget password , it goes to Settings as per pics. However after they entered new password , they still have to enter the current password (even though it’s optional) somehow It said required and can not save changes until current password entered . It’s defeating the purpose of forget the password. Please help.

Please try disabling third-party plugins and caching solutions, the Forgot Password link should be available to non-logged in users only (it’s not visible anywhere if you’re logged in), and if you click it you shouldn’t see the Settings page. Forget Password link is available in the login form and opens a form that allows resetting password by username or email. Then users click the reset link via email and they are redirected to the Password Reset page.
