Forgot Password not fuctioning

Once you request a new password The link to your email functions Then the link to a new password functions. You enter a new password There after it comes back saying Its expired or invalid There after you cant login with original or new password. You simply blocked


We checked this issue from our side, and it seems okay. After the user clicks on the forgotten password, they are prompted for an email, they receive a link to the recovery email, and by entering a new password, they automatically log in. Therefore, ensure that after changing the password, you enter the correct new password when logging in. If this issue persists, please provide more details regarding this issue (e.g., your actions step by step with screenshots, etc.). This will help us to reproduce and resolve the issue faster.

Ive noticed that that may be because of another problem. If you register and add no further info and logout. You cant log back in again. Page refreshes and you still not logged in. This happens permanently?

It does not show as a vendor in the back end but only a user (User wordpress default is set to “subscriber” and “anyone can register”)

Now there is some confusion as to why there is TWO login’s. One shows the profile and the other is for a listing. WHY such a mess. Why not simplify with one login in and you can see your profile and listings ?

Seems that recaptcha V3 causes the problem discussed. Hope you guys sort this out please.
The two login details is still a mess. Is there a way to simplify this? Or at least rename them ?


It is possible that during setup, you may have mistakenly chosen ReCaptcha v3 instead of v2. I recommend setting up ReCaptcha as described in this doc How to enable Google reCaptcha - HivePress Help Center.

P.S. We currently don’t 100% support Elementor - while you can add HivePress blocks via Elementor, advanced features are not available yet. I highly recommend using the core WordPress block editor to keep the website fast and lightweight.
