I want to create groups of users by enrolling them as “buyers” and creating region wise landing pages for the group of buyers for example, www.scrapit.in/metal-scrap-buyers/bangalore or www.scrapit.in/paper-scrap-buyers/bangalore how will I be able to achieve this,
currently the regions is created for vendors but if a user is adding a listing then he/she will get listed as a vendor and the region wise pages will be created but I don’t want this as any user can become a vendor even if they don’t buy scrap,
I want these specialised pages to serve like a directory for people who are scrap dealers
Unfortunately, there is no such feature since only the profile page is available for regular users. If you need to display regular user profiles for SEO, we can provide you with a workaround.
Ok So I have figured half of the way to do this and require you help to figure the rest half
So here is what I did
Created Vendor Categories: Metal Scrap Buyers and Plastic Scrap Buyers
Create Post: Created Post and used hivepress vendor module and selected category of vendors as I wanted
The second half involves having a Region based filter in the module to fitler my vendors as per regions is there way I can do this?
Please let me know if I can add region based filter in vendor module or is there way I can add sort or filter option on the post page to allow users to filter the profiles
We plan to add such a filter in the next updates of the Geolocation extension. If you need it urgently, we can provide a temporary fix. Alternatively, as a workaround, you can use direct links to vendor search results with the prefilled region and category.

I would also like to address another issue, when I create the categories my existing users get the complete profile form when they like to add a listing where they select a suitable vendor category but they can’t edit this any further as there is no option available in the settings pages is there any way I can enable the option of editing vendor category for the user?

I’ll provide the temporary solution for generating region pages within 24 hours or less, please remember to remove it after Geolocation is updated because we also plan to add this feature.
While this is great, I can use the regions drop down on listings block as well but I was looking for Region drop down on Vendor block, please share the code for vendor block
