In my listings search bar when I type in a location google maps recognizes it but the moment I hit return it disappears, Google Maps support claims innocence and is not very helpful acccording to them my API key is correct and therefore everything should work so it is not their problem. This worked fine until I changed my website name and got a new API key. Which google maps apps do I have to activate and do I need to enter their secret key as well as the API key. Their support does not even know what a secret key is . What hivepress settings could affect this.

Please make sure that you’re using the latest version of the Geolocation extension. If you changed your API key, please make sure that you configured it correctly: How to get a Google Maps API key - HivePress Help Center.
Also, if you’re using search by regions, don’t forget to add the Secret Key in HivePress > Settings > Integrations > Google Maps: How to set up regions - HivePress Help Center.

Google Maps created a new API key for Places, so when using an old version of Places, this feature allows you to keep using the older functionality. If your Google Maps API key has the “Places API (New)” enabled, you can safely disable the old Places API option.
