Google Maps is loading an embedded iframe on your site

Hi there, I do NOT use the Geolocation extension and therefore do not use any kind of maps on my entire website. However the plugin ‘OMGF | Optimize My Google Fonts’ which I use to host google fonts locally shows the error ‘Google Maps is loading an embedded iframe on your site’.

What do I need to do in order to find and eliminate any kind of google maps iframe(s)? It is absolutely necessary for data security reasons that there is no communication with google servers in the background that users have not consent to.

Many thanks in advance!

Hi,

Please note that if the Geolocation extension is not installed, there can be no code related to Google Maps: Code search results · GitHub
If you see that it is an iframe, it means that somewhere in the page’s content, there is a Google Maps code for embed or a link to Google Maps that WordPress is trying to convert to an iframe. Also, please disable third-party plugins and customizations (if there are any) and check if this issue persists. If you use a caching plugin, make sure that caching is disabled for logged-in users.
