Google Social Login SignUp Issue for Users

When a user sign up using their Google account, the sign up process goes through, but the “sign in” button does not change to the user’s username. Note: Users always receive a "Welcome Email"from my admin email address they after sign up, which tells that they successfully signed up.

How do I resolve this please?

Hi,

Please make sure that there are no caching plugins or hosting provider solutions that may cause this issue, especially if caching for logged-in users is enabled. Please disable third-party plugins and customizations (if there are any) and check if this issue persists. If you use a caching plugin, make sure that caching is disabled for logged-in users.

Andril,

I have contacted my hosting provider. The issue is npot frpom them. I have deactivated the only cache plugin, still, the issue persist. What do we?

The Social Login issue for Google Account and Facebook Account works now, but there is another issue. users need to do it (login twice) before it eventually display their username. That is, change the "sign in"button to their username.

How do we resolve this now?

Hi,

Most likely, this is caching on the part of the hosting provider; please specify which hosting you are using.

Easy WP WordPress Hosting

Hi,

I see. We had a similar issue with EasyWP because they have a server-side cache that they can’t disable, but we will check it more closely on our side and try to find a solution and release it in future updates. Also, please note that we have already refreshed the cache after the redirect, so we recommend contacting the support of this hosting provider and clarifying why they added a random parameter to the URL and why it does not update the caching. Please ask them if they can provide a temporary solution to reset their cache. If they still don’t help, then we will try to check it in more detail and provide a temporary solution.

After a deep conversation and back and forth between me and a representative of the hosting provider, II have resolved it finally. I needed to migrate my website from EasyWP hosting to a Stellar Plus Shared Hosting.

Thank you, Andril
