Header image without zoom?

Good day
If I upload a header image on the home site or for categories, it looks on my iPhone perfect, but if i open it on my desktop, it looks like zoomed. How can i deactivate that? the quality of the picture looks also lower on my desktop. Its possible to upload for smartphone and desktop different pictures?

thank you for your help

Hi,

The image you’re using is a background image, and the browser scales it to fully cover the available area. Depending on the screen, it prioritizes either width or height: on mobile the header area is usually taller than it is wide, while on desktop it’s the opposite. Because of this, parts of the image may be cropped differently on different devices.

We recommend uploading an image of at least 1600×800 px. This size usually provides good coverage across screen sizes without noticeable blur.

Also, since this is a background image, it’s best not to use it for important or informational content, as some parts may be cut off depending on the device. If you need the entire image to always be visible, it’s better to add it as a regular image inside the page or header content instead of using it as a background.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.
