How to change styles in header

Hello,

I saw some other posts asking for information on how to customise the header for the ListingHive theme but there was no specific answer so I would like to request a way to do this, or some documentation on it.

I accessed the style.css file in my host’s back end but I couldn’t see where to edit the header options. I would like to change the following:

  1. Change the user menu when the user is logged in and it shows their name, and the options such as “Settings” that appear upon hover

  2. Renaming of the “sign in” button (I know can do this with loco translate) and edit the link it goes to.

Plus other aesthetic customisations like font, text colour, spacing, alignment. My goal is to make the header across my site the same, since I am using ListingHive and Paid Listings on certain pages and a different theme on other pages so the header looks different. The content itself doesn’t matter.

Thank you

Hi,

There are no simple CSS snippets for this, you need to look at the dev console in more detail and create the appropriate PHP or CSS snippets based on this. Also, If customizations are required for your site, please try customizing it using the collection of code snippets Search · user:hivepress · GitHub and other developer resources, or consider hiring someone for custom work https://fvrr.co/32e7LvY

Hi Andrii,

Thank you for the information, I will have a look.
