How to change the header and footer background color

This is my first time to use wordpress and meetinghive theme. I dont know why there is no colors shown in the header and footer when I was editing and using other devices to view it, but I can see the color on my website. I didn’t use any third-party plugin. Thank you.

There is no built-in feature for this. It will require CSS modifications to achieve.

I just noticed that when logged into my WordPress site (hosted on Cloudways), the header and footer background colors display normally. However, when logged out, the background colors disappear.

Please disable third-party plugins and customizations (if there are any) and check if this issue persists. If you use a caching plugin, make sure that caching is disabled for logged-in users.

I have the same issue on MeetingHive theme. The header and the footer background color does not appear on the website but just appears when editing.
