How to change vendor in listing from backend

  1. Vendor Assignment Issue:
When editing a listing, I attempt to change the vendor from the default vendor to a custom vendor I created. However, after clicking “Update,” the vendor reverts back to the default vendor. Interestingly, after about an hour, one of the listings I modified did update to the correct custom vendor, but this delay is inconsistent and unpredictable (and also the others stil are not updated)
  2. Image Upload Issue:
I am trying to upload images to listings, as well as a profile image for the vendors. However, new images do not upload successfully. After multiple attempts over time, I manage to upload some of the images, but not all. Notably, images that were previously uploaded and stored in the media library can be added without issues.

These problems make it difficult to manage new listings at all.

Looking forward to your support.

anyone? :folded_hands: :folded_hands:

Hi,

  1. Please note that in order to change the vendor in the listing, the listing must be in draft status, for example. Also, make sure that the vendor you are changing the listing to has the Contributor role in WP Dashboard > Users. Additionally, please disable third-party plugins and customizations (if there are any) and check if this issue persists. If you use a caching plugin, make sure that caching is disabled for logged-in users.

  2. It can also be an issue with third-party plugins, caching, or custom implementation. Also, when loading an image, open the console in your browser and check for JS errors. As an alternative, please contact your hosting provider, they may be blocking such requests.

I hope this is helpful to you

Hi,

Please make sure you have at least one category created in Listings > Categories.

i have 65 categories in lisitngs (also got categories in vendors)…

Hi,

If you have added categories and published them, then this issue is 100% related to third-party plugins, caching, or customizations, as there can be no other reasons. Please check it all out in more detail.
