How to create vendor profile without creating listing

When visitor creat a profile as a vendor its ask to creat atleast 1 listing but i don’t want so i want vendor simple creat profile even without creat single listing

Hi @abuzarkandwal,

By default in HivePress, a user is only considered a Vendor once they have added at least one listing.

In WordPress terms this swaps their user role from being a Subscriber to a Contributor.

I’m not entirely sure if it would meet your requirements, but you could turn off the setting which enables front-end listing submission and enable direct Vendor registration.

If you could share more details about what you’re trying to achieve the staff or community will be able to offer suggestions.

Hi @abuzarkandwal,

In the backend of WordPress, visit HivePress > Settings > Listings and disable this option:

Then, change tab to Vendors and enable this option:

You can then link your new vendors to sign up via:

https://example.com/register-vendor
