How to delete conversations with AI assistant

Hello,

https://hivepress.io/ fails to provided any contact on a easy to spot place.

I have tried to email ihor@ but no reply.

I have submit a topic https://community.hivepress.io/t/i-want-to-delete-my-chats-with-ai-assistant/17830/6 more than one month ago, it was about inability to delete my chats with AI (Chatbase), now i can not see that topic.

Inside it, I have been told that the chats are deleted in 30 days, but that is not true. It is more than 30 days and chats remains.

You can email the HivePress team at anytime using support@hivepress.io and you can remove your HivePress AI Chat history by visiting:

  • HivePress AI Assistant
  • Visit ‘Site Settings’ in your browser. (for me using Brave browser, that’s next to the URL bar)
  • In the pop-up, select ‘Cookies & Site Data’.
  • Then click the ‘Manage on-site device data’ button.
  • Click the trash-can icon next to the two chatbase.co entries.
  • Reload the page, and your previous chats should be removed.

Chatbase replied to us that they have passed the feature request to their developers, so we hope there will soon be a UI option to delete conversations directly from the dedicated Help page.

If you’d like to use the HivePress AI Assistant with an explicit option to delete your own conversations, you can use the chat bubble version, which is available on our documentation page. It provides a deletion option under three dots > View Recent Chats.

Alternatively, you can continue using the dedicated AI Assistant page and clear your browser cache, as Chris mentioned, if you want to remove the locally stored conversation data. According to Chatbase, inactive conversations are stored for 30 days and are then automatically deleted.

In any case, I’m glad to hear that the issue has been resolved!
