Is this possible? I do not need it for any of the listings. If not, what would be a solution so that the new listing applicator does not need to fill this field - can I default it to 0? Would there be a different theme that is better for my use? My directory is B2B and they will not be purchasing directly from the site/listing but contacting them to get more information and a quote.
Hi @Knode,
The Price field is added by the Marketplace plugin, so if you don’t require these features, you can simply deactivate the Marketplace extension.
I hope this helps!

Okay I will look at this as an option, as I do want vendors to have to pay to add their listing for 2 pricing options. Would deleting Marketplace extension eliminate this too?
Hi @Knode,
You can use the Memberships extension to set up various Paid* Plans that restrict the ability the create a listing. You don’t require the Marketplace extension for this.
For the Paid* part - You’ll connect your Plans with a WooCommerce product.
I hope this helps!

Perfect thank you! Also - is it possible to restrict access to the ‘requests’ page so that only the paying vendors on the directory will be able to view it? The requests should not be public view for my site
Hi @Knode,
I don’t personally use the Requests extension myself, so I’m not very familiar with how it works, but if this isn’t currently possible by default, HivePress staff may be able to provide a code snippet or guidance on how to help achieve this.
They’ll likely respond to your topic tomorrow.
Cheers,

Hi,
You can restrict access to the entire Requests page or individual request pages until a plan is purchased. Additionally, you can restrict editing or viewing of specific attributes, users will need to buy a plan to add extra information to a request, and vendors will need a plan to view certain request attributes. You can also limit the number of offers vendors can submit. Overall, the plugin allows you to monetize your site in multiple ways.
Additionally, our refund policy allows you to test our products risk-free — if the product doesn’t meet your needs, you can request a full refund within 30 days.
P.S. Please note that we have to move this topic to the Marketplace forum category. Since it’s related to a premium extension, the forum category is restricted — please add the license key to the account settings or consider renewing support if you still need assistance related to the premium themes or extensions Renew Support | HivePress
Hope this helps
Okay thank you. This is great to know.
How do I access account settings to add the license key?
Please go to your profile Preferences > Profile and find the License Keys field.
I have added my license key. Do I need to wait for it to be approved to access the private message boards?
Thank you for adding the key.
Once the key is entered and support is active for your purchase, you’ll have access to topics related to premium products.
