How to make required fields?

NicoleVedovatto53 · May 4, 2023, 8:39pm

Hello! Thank you so much for all the support you offer. It really is quality service.
Please, how do I make these fields mandatory? - I don’t think it’s appropriate for my site that ads can go without any photos or that users don’t at least include their name and a photo as well;

Hi,

To make these fields required, you will need PHP snippets (How to add custom code snippets - HivePress Help Center):

functions.php

<?php
add_filter(
	'hivepress/v1/forms/listing_update/errors',
	function( $errors, $form ) {
		$listing = $form->get_model();

		if ( $listing && ! $listing->get_image__id() ) {
			$errors[] = 'Please upload at least one image.';
		}
