Currently, the “Description” field is required when filling out the listing form. I want to create a separate description field and use the current description field for other purposes. However, the seller can’t leave it blank and submit the form because they get the error “The ‘Description’ field is required.”
How can I remove the requirement for this field?

The problem was that the field contained an HTML editor. I found the solution myself.
