How to manage tasks based on hourly rates with unknown hours

Hi there, I’m Ben, just getting started with this plugin. I believe the default job type for my use-case will be customers contracting with experts for services based on their hourly rate. Upfront, it might not be known how many hours the job will take, so I want to be able to allow functionality to indicate how many hours the job took, and then have that multiplied by the service provider’s hourly rate to determine the total job amount at job completion. How is this scenario handled?

Hi,

Unfortunately, there is no such feature, it will require a custom implementation. However, as a workaround, you can use the time-based booking feature if you have the Bookings extension.
