How to replace username with an attribute

I have a problem regarding identifiers, users are complaining that their nickname does not appear in the hivepress messaging system but that they transmit their identifier.
I tried to modify this with my nickname attribute but in the account options it’s not possible to define the name on an attribute.

Is there a way to work around this or add the attribute here ?

At the very least, I would like user IDs not to be visible in messages.

Hi,

Unfortunately, this feature is not available to users, it is only available to vendors.

Even for sellers the identifier is displayed instead of the nickname in the messaging
