How to test custom emails

Hello,
I created a custom email for an “advertisement rejected” message and wanted to test it. However, I can’t find an option to send it.

Where can I send this message to a user?

Hi,

If you customized the Listing Rejected email, you need to reject a listing for the action to be triggered. Make sure that the “Manually approve new listings” feature is enabled in HivePress > Listings > Submission, and then reject the recently submitted listing. After that, the email should be delivered.

I created the mail. Manually confirm is also available. But there is no button for rejected or do I have to click on Delete?

I noticed that if you delete the entry, the message is sent.

Once it’s deleted, it can’t be edited again. How can I send the message to someone and have them make changes again?

Currently, there is no revision workflow available, it’s not possible to automatically request changes to a listing.

As a temporary workaround, you can manually contact vendors to request updates.

We’re planning to add a revision form in the future, which will allow admins to specify the required changes directly.
