I plan to have 6 different categories of listings, but at the moment of the launch we want to try only 2 categories and if it gains traction we will add more content and categories later.
I already created 6 categories, is it possible to hide/disable 4 of them temporarily and activate them later?
There is no such option at the moment, but if you display categories using a block (e.g. on the Home page) you can order them by the listing count, so non-empty categories will be displayed first, and empty may be hidden if you set some specific number of categories to show.

Yes, I had limited to only displaying non-empty categories however users still see the other categories when they are making a new posting. I guess I’ll delete the categories for now and add later again. Thanks anyway
