Is the Messages extension compatible with Divi?

I am trying to see if the Hive plug in for Messages would be compatible with my wordpress website that has a divi theme built in. I need a messager option to allow clients to message service providers that they have arrived for their appointment. Would this plug in be compatible? And are there any videos i could review to see how this works?
