Is to possible to take payment for packages without using woopayments

Is it possible to take payment for listings packages and featured listings without using Woopayments.
Maybe by just using standard Stripe account or another payment processor rather than Stripe Express which is required by Woopayments.
We do not have vendors selling to customers on our website so no need for a connect account.

We have had a good look through previous posts but cannot find any answer to this.
Help from anyone would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi,

Please note that WooPayments is a separate extension from WooCommerce, it will not work correctly with Paid Listings, you need to use the available payment methods that are available in WooCommerce. Other alternatives will require custom integration.

ā€‹I hope this is helpful to you.

Hi andrii,

Thanks for the reply. However you misunderstand what I mean.
What I am asking is that to take payments for listings and featuring do we need to be using woopayments. Or can we use standard woocommerce to do this.
For example when a vendor pays for a listing to be featured in their dashboard, is this payment only through woopayments. Or can the payment be done without using woopayments.
Woopayments will only work with Stripe express and we want to have the option to to use other card payment processors.

Hi,

All payments are made exclusively via WooCommerce, and with all available payment methods, there is, unfortunately, no other option. As for WooPayments, you can simply uninstall this extension as it is not integrated with HivePress.

Thanks. OK we have uninstalled woopayments and and everything is working OK.

WARNING ABOUT YAY MULTI-CURRENCY SWITCHER. For anyone reading this we have found that the Yay Woocommerce Multi-Currency Switcher plugin had a conflict with STRIPE on our website.
When we have Yay Woocommerce Multi-Currency Switcher installed and active, Stripe would not appear as a payment option in the Woocommerce checkout page.
When we deactivated Yay Woocommerce Multi-Currency Switcher STRIPE magically appears as a payment option in the checkout again.
We only had Yay Woocommerce Multi-Currency Switcher added to the listings pages as it would give visitors the option to switch currencys in the listings blocks and listing pages.
