Issue with Featured Listing Purchase (Variable Product)

Hi,

I’ve created a variable product for the Featured Listing, with several options (7 days, 1 month, 2 months, etc.). Previously, I had a single simple product for the 7-day Featured Listing.

The problem I’m facing is that when I click the star to add the Featured Listing to the cart, I receive an error message saying: “The cart is empty”, accompanied by an alert saying: “Choose product options by visiting Featured Listing”, where “Featured Listing” is the link to the variable product page I’ve created.

My goal is to ensure that, when clicking the star icon, the user is directly redirected to the options selection page for the Featured Listing. Once the option (such as the duration of the listing) is selected, the user should be taken directly to the cart for the selected listing they are purchasing.

Does anyone know how I can solve this issue or bypass this alert page?

Hi,

Please note that there is no such feature in Paid Listings, as there is a fixed price for the featured and fixed period, and it does not recognize it as a variable product. However, you may consider purchasing the Memberships extension, where you can create different paid plans with different number of featured and featured periods. If you decide to buy Memberships, please write to our email and we will be able to provide a discount.
