When on the listings page, or using the hivepress listings search bar block I have on other pages (not entering a location) when I press enter it takes me to the listings page and only shows all of the listings categories blocks as I have it set to display those, and not any applicable search results. How can I change this?
I have also seen that this can sometimes be a plugin issue? If this is the case, how do I test this? Do I deactivate one plugin at a time and refresh the site and test the search function again? How common is this issue, is there a more efficient way to diagnose when this happens?

If categories appear instead of listings when searching directly from the Listings page, please check if the “Display categories instead of listings” option is enabled in HivePress/Settings/Listings.
This option forces users to select a category before performing any search by showing categories instead of listings, so it basically prevents any search that is not specific to a category (e.g. if someone searches by keywords directly via the Listings page). If you want users to be able to search listings without forcing them to select a category first, please disable this option (you can still show listing categories on any custom pages using the Listings Categories block).
