Listings order by category

Hi,

Is it possible to change the default order of the listings to run in categories.
I have around 10 categories and i want all listings from category 2 to show first, then all listings from category 4 and so on.

So really looking for help to have a category specific order. I have tried adding low to high category numbers in each specific category, but thats not changing any ordering at all.

Hi,

Sorry, but this doesn’t seem to be possible at the WordPress level: a category is designed for grouping items, not for ordering values from smallest to largest like a text or number field. If it were possible, it would require customization at the SQL query level.
