I am using Rentalhive theme and I have problems using the filter. If I select the Location and a range of dates and leave the space of the categories as All categories it pops up an error notification page as the one you can see below:
I have both daily and hourly bookings configured in my Settings.
Regarding the Categories filter ( reffering here to the main menu filter), I would like to remove the subcategories and the subsequent subcategories from the dropdown list. Would it be possible? My list is too long and the user can get lost as to what to select.
Please take note that the same error appears now below the main filter in the main page.
Regarding the reinstalation of the hivepress plugin, I must tell you that I do not have access to my old computer any more.
On the other hand, if I delete it and reinstall it again it would mean I have to reconfigure everything from scratch again and this would be imposible from my side.
Can you please recommend me any other way to solve this?
It is really urgent for me because I can not work on the page.
I reinstalled the Hivepress plugin as you said and after a while the “deprecated messages” dissapeard from under the search filter on the homepage but I still see it under the filter column on the left side of the searching page.
Can you please tell me what should I do about it?
On the other hand, I am checking if the location search is functioning correctly and it does not display the listings I added for diferent cities. I have categories for hourly booking, daily bookings and product listings. It may be because of the date selection? That does not apply to products but only to bookings?
I changed the map provider to Google Maps and everything goes well with the Location search and Categories but I realised that the problem is with the dates searching.
I have 3 types of listings: bookings by hour, bookings by day and product listings so I am wondering how would the date search function correctly if it not applies to hourly rentals and product listings? Date search where I can select multiple days would only look for daily rentals.
So how can I be able to add dates in the searching bar but to be able to select also only one date, and to be able to see hourly bookings and daily bookings together and also to be able to see the products? The hourly booking search is also meant to look for hourly availability so how is this supposed to be done?
Now if I select various dates, the page crashes.
Please let me know what should I do in this case?
The search bar is the most important part of the page and without it I can not go on with the configuration.
I see. Unfortunately, in the current version of the date availability, the search will not work if you have mixed booking types. It will work if you have global listings, time slots, or date-based. Because the search logic is different, and there is no way to find all types of listings in the same results.
