Manual Membership Plan Sends Email to Admin, Not Plan Owner

Manually adding membership doesn’t work as it should. It’s assigning a Blank membership to users unless all of the proper fields for the membership plan are filled. making selecting a plan pointless.

Steps to reproduce

go to memberships, click add membership.

name it (should auto name based on the user but whatever) then select the user and plan.

Save/publish it.

Actual result

it creates the plan in the account but it doesn’t include anything that is ALREADY selected in the actual default plans. Everything needs to be added again. When looking in the users account under memberships, it’ll show that the membership is active but won’t show listings or requests allowed. also when editing the listing it doesn’t allow the editing of whats in the plan.

Also naming it the same way didnt work either. it still creates a blank plan.

Expected result

It should assign the person the exact plan as selected without having to enter all of the details like attributes etc.

Extra details

here are screenshots

also why is it sending the admin (me) the manually activated membership details? Don’t the users need it? It only send it to them if they subscribe on the front end.

Hi,

Thanks for reposting the issue regarding the email notification. The bug is confirmed, and we added it to our bug tracker.

Regarding manual plans, please don’t prefill anything, not even the title. Just select the user and the plan, then click Save. This will automatically apply all the restrictions from the selected plan.
