Manually Mapped Schema Properties Not Appearing in JSON-LD Output

Hi HivePress Team,

I’m using the ListingHive theme and HivePress SEO extension and having an issue with schema markup implementation. I’ve selected “FinancialService” as my schema type, but manually mapped schema properties are not appearing in the JSON-LD output when tested with Google’s Rich Results Test as well as reviewing the page source code.

What I’ve Done:

  • Navigated to HivePress > Settings > Listings > SEO
  • Selected “FinancialService” as the schema type
  • Created custom attributes in HivePress > Listings > Attributes
  • Mapped each attribute to its corresponding schema property in the attribute settings

The Problem:

When I check my listing pages using Google’s Rich Results Test and view the page source code, ONLY the automatically assigned schema properties appear (like review snippets, basic listing info, social media links). NONE of the manually mapped properties appear in the JSON-LD schema output.

What I’ve Already Checked:

:white_check_mark: All attributes are set as global (no specific categories selected)
:white_check_mark: “Allow front-end editing” is enabled for all attributes
:white_check_mark: Cleared cache multiple times, used incognito mode and different browser
:white_check_mark: Attribute types are compatible (text, select fields)
:white_check_mark: Checked the page source code - manually mapped properties simply don’t appear

Expected Behavior:

The manually mapped schema properties should appear in the JSON-LD output alongside the automatically generated properties.

Actual Behavior:

Only automatically assigned properties appear. All manually mapped custom attributes are missing from the schema markup.

Is this a known bug with the SEO extension? Do I need a custom code snippet to make these properties work? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi HivePress Team,

A quick update from my side. I changed the schema type from “FinancialService” to “LocalBusiness,” and everything is working correctly now.

It appears the issue occurs only when using the “FinancialService” schema type. I’ll stick with “LocalBusiness” for now, as it’s not critical at the moment.

However, it does seem that there is a bug related to the “FinancialService” schema type in the HivePress SEO extension settings. It would be great if you could double-check this.

Thank you for the clarification. Could you please confirm whether the attributes are showing as invalid in the schema or not detected at all? It’s possible that the financial type requires a different format.

The manually mapped schema properties / attributes are not detected at all. They do not appear in the page’s source code.
