Unfortunately, category restrictions aren’t currently available in Memberships. However, we’re planning to add this feature in the first few months of next year.

“Single Page” refers to individual listing pages. This means users will be able to see all listings in the directory, but they’ll need an active membership plan to view the details of a specific listing. “All Pages” works similarly, except that the main listings page (where all listings are displayed) will only be accessible to members.

You can set a very high number like 9999 or something similar that would be difficult to reach in practice.

Limits are only counted when the actual action occurs. The Submission Limit determines how many additions or renewals can be made. The limit decreases when a listing is added, and if you’ve also set an Expiration Period for listings, users will need to have a non-zero membership limit to renew expired listings. For example, to offer one free listing per month (without WooCommerce Subscriptions), you could set a 30-day Expiration Period for listings and create a plan with a Submission Limit of 1. Users would add their listing and wouldn’t be able to add more until renewal time. When it’s time to renew (if they want to keep it active), they can select the free plan again with the limit of 1 to renew it, or use that submission to add a new listing instead. This way, they’ll have a maximum of one new listing per month, or they can renew one of their existing listings. In short, if there’s no expiration date set for listings and the plan expires, the listings will remain active on the site.

The ability to display specific plans in the Plans block isn’t available yet, but we’re planning to add it soon as it’s a priority. Currently, you can filter plans on the plans page by restrictions. For example, if you click the star icon next to a listing title in Account > Listings (the star icon appears if you have at least one plan with a featuring limit), you’ll see only plans that include featuring, and the URL will contain something like
restriction=listing_feature_limit. The challenge is showing only your first two plans, since your featuring plans also have Submission Limits. If you choose this option, we can provide a URL that displays only plans with specific submission limits. -
If you’re not using WooCommerce Subscriptions, you can enter a very large number in the plan’s Expiration Period field and write “Unlimited” in the plan description.
