Memberships Settings Guidance

Good afternoon,

I’ve bought the Memberships extension and my intention is to use it as a simple monthly subscription for the customers in order to get a 100% discount for the bookings they make by using a Discount Coupon.
The two main problems I see is that when I buy a suscription to test how it works, the Buy button then changes to Renew even if I set the subscription plan to have no time limit. Is it there a way to show - Cancel Plan - instead of Renew?
On the other side, in Hivepress settings I see it is mandatory to select in Subcriptions options between: users, hosts, requests etc. I selected users, but I do not understand exactly what this functionality is used for. Can you please explain it to me?
Is there any other point I should take into account if I use Memebership plugin for a different scope it is not intended to?

Sorry, I forgot to add that when I added the Subscription plan, the price showed was 200 $ / month, but after I paid, the price in the Membership Plan Card showed / month / month.

I do not understand why it show / month twice?

Could you please clarify your desired monetization model? You mentioned bookings and coupons, but these features aren’t related to the Memberships plugin. Please provide more details about what specific access or functionality you’d like to limit using Memberships.
